Getting the lead out of AVGAS What is the future of avgas? For many years we have known that burning leaded aviation fuel needs to come to an end. One of the key organizations involved in research and testing alternatives has been Canada's own National Research Council. Malcolm D. Imray, P. GIRLS DAY AT THE ROCKCLIFFE AIRPORT Saturday March 7, the Rockcliffe Flying Club, the Eastern Ontario Chapter of the Ninety-Nines and the Canada Aviation and Space Museum welcome girls and women to the Rockcliffe Airport Saturday, March 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Rain Date Sunday, March 8) Volunteer Pilots, the Eastern Ontario Chapter of the Ninety-Nines and the Rockcliffe Flying Club will provide free flights to girls and women who have never flown in a small airplane! All are welcome, but the flights are only available to girls and women.

February 15,2015 Wine & Cheese / Meet & Greet RFC’s Clubs (Committees) On Sunday February 15, from 14:00 to 16:00 hrs. we are holding a RFC Clubs (Committees) Meet & Greet at the club to encourage you to meet representatives of each of the various clubs. Each club will have a display set up to explain its goals, objective and achievements, and its members will be able to answer any questions you might have. While you are here you can enjoy some wine and cheese and enter a draw for a one-hour booking on the Redbird Flight Trainer. Tickets are $3 (for one ticket) or $5 (for three tickets) and all proceeds will go towards our Building Fund.
